Promoting a New Website On a Small Budget
So you you’ve spent ages developing a new website that you think can make you some serious money.
You could have the best website in the world, but without people using your website then theres no point of it existing.
I’ve put together a list of things you can do to promote your new website, and all with a small advertising budget.
1. Chat on forums related to your websites subject, and put a link to your website in your forums signature.
2. Post useful comments on highly ranked blogs.
3. Write articles, and submit them to article submission sites.
4. Submit your articles to social networking websites.
5. Create a blog, and then submit your RSS feed to ping sites such as pingomatic.com
6. Chat on Yahoo and MSN groups. Find groups related to your website.
7. Submit a Press Release
8. Create a mailing list. Get people to sign up and keep in regular contact with them.
9. Dmoz.org - It can be tricky, but if you can get your website listed on dmoz.org then this will greatly help your websites natural search engine traffic.
